This privacy policy explains how Mic O Phone ("the app", "we") handles your information. The short version: Mic O Phone is built so your microphone audio stays on your device. We do not collect personal data, we do not record your voice, and we do not use third-party trackers.
Data we process
Mic O Phone captures audio from your device microphone and streams it in real time to the audio output you choose (a Bluetooth speaker, the system output, or a connected audio device). The audio is processed on-device and is never stored on the device or transmitted to our servers.
Permissions
The app requests two permissions. The microphone permission is required to capture your voice live. The Bluetooth permission is required to detect Bluetooth audio devices and pick the right output. Both permissions can be revoked at any time from your device settings, but the app will not work without them.
No account, no profile
Mic O Phone does not require sign-up. We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, location, contacts or device identifiers.
Subscriptions and in-app purchases
Subscription access to voice effects is processed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play). Your payment information is handled by these stores under their own terms and privacy policies. We only receive a confirmation that a subscription is active for your device. We do not see or store your payment details.
Third parties
We do not embed analytics, advertising or tracking SDKs. Apple and Google may collect data tied to subscription processing as described in their own privacy policies.
Children
Mic O Phone is suitable for general audiences. We do not knowingly collect data from children, because we do not collect personal data from anyone.
Your rights
Because we do not collect personal data, there is nothing to access, export or delete on our side. For payment or subscription data, contact Apple or Google directly. If you have questions, you can reach us via the Support page.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy to reflect changes in the app or in applicable laws. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page always shows when the current version was published.
